Research America’s VP, Barbara Haimowitz, PhD, to Present Intellus Results on Health Communication

Newtown Square, PA, March 21, 2024 – Research America’s VP, Barbara Haimowitz, Ph.D., Segmedica division, will co-present the Intellus Clear Health Communication Taskforce's (CHCT) research results. Intellus, the Association for Health Insights and Analytics, supports this research initiative. The research project is dedicated to harnessing the power of health literacy in marketing research to improve cardiovascular disease patient outcomes. It is executed as part of an effort to improve healthcare practitioners' communication with patients with limited English proficiency who have cardiovascular disease.

The research was conducted with Emergency Department healthcare practitioners in low, medium, and high SDOH (Social Determinants of Health) counties in the USA, using federal poverty level percentages by county as segmentation drivers.
