Michael DiGregorio initiated a career in the field of market research at the young age of 16, as a telephone interviewer, while attending Father Judge High School. Before becoming a computer programmer, he also worked as a monitor and supervisor.
Michael grew up in Philadelphia and attended Father Judge High School where he undertook his first two computer courses, Pascal Programming, first igniting his love of computers. He then enrolled at Holy Family College and took additional computer courses, but majored in English Communications.
Michael accepted employment at Research America, Inc. in August 1998 and was quickly promoted to supervisor. Because Research America, Inc. was opening new offices and accepting more work, an additional computer programmer was needed to assist Sharon G insburg in her duties. Michael assumed the position of computer programmer in December 1999. His normal duties include, but are not limited to: (1) interacting with clients, (2) collecting survey data and sending it to clients, (3) programming computer surveys, and (4) helping to keep current the computer system and network.
He oversaw the recent opening of Opinion Data Company and held an essential role in setting up the computer system and network at the newest subsidiary, American Intervieweing Servies. He created (and still maintains) this very web site and set up Research America, Inc.’s email accounts for other personnel.
